I started shooting firearms when I was 5 years old, but up until last year I only shot a few times a year at outdoor ranges. Because of an archery related injury last year, I had a lot more free time and started shooting an indoor pistol league. My dad would make me wear normal ear muffs at the indoor range, because he wanted to protect my hearing. But they would squish my safety glasses into my head and give me a really bad headache while I was shooting that would even last a couple hours after I was done shooting.
Since I am shooting firearms even more now, I needed to make a change and I talked to the guys from the Junior Shooters Magazine to see what they suggested I try. They recommended to me the Walker R600 Silencer 2.0 Rechargeable Electronic Push-In Ear Plugs. I've been using them for awhile now and they work very well. They are quiet when there is shooting, but when there is no shooting going on and people are talking you can hear them clearly. They protect my hearing and they don't give me headaches like my old ear muffs did. They also fit very well in my ears, I never feel like they are going to fall out even when I'm moving. They also come with a case to store them that when it is charged up, will automatically charge your ear plugs for you. They also come in a Bluetooth option, so you can listen to your phone when you are not shooting.
So if you are having the same trouble I had with getting headaches from normal ear muffs, then I recommend the Walker R600 Silencer 2.0 Rechargeable Electronic Push-In Ear Plugs since they work very well.
